MENTAL HEALTH
A state of emotional and psychological well-being in which an individual can use their cognitive and emotional capabilities, function in society, and meet the ordinary demands of everyday life.
WHO HAS MENTAL HEALTH?
Everyone.
MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS
Being aware of your overall health is vital to detecting problems and seeking help when necessary. While many people are familiar with their physical health, many people are unsure how to look after their mental health. Raising awareness on mental health provides an opportunity to a person to monitor their well-being. Mental health awareness helps more than just the person with a condition. Knowing more about mental health can also help family members, friends, and coworkers break the stigma that leaves so many people suffering in silence.
THE ELO HOUSE
THE ELO HOUSE was founded in 2019 as a brand promoting mental health awareness through innovative and creative initiatives. The first initiative, a "Mental Health Awareness Home" (MHAH), utilizes an innovative and creative approach to addressing one's mental health during a crucial time of transition. The MHAH provides opportunities to those without support and/or who have lost it. It is designed to provide structured and supportive environments where people with similar experiences can voice their challenges. The beginning of 2023 marked the start of our creative arts initiatives. The Spotify playlist "The M in Music is for Mental Health" is intended to provide a boost (pick me up) in one's day and serve as a conversation starter on mental health. The playlist will be a springboard to additional related projects to follow.

CURATED SPOTIFY PLAYLIST
The “M” In Music Is For Mental Health™ a curated playlist initiative by The Elo House that reimagines the meaning behind a single letter. The letter “M” serves as a subtle yet profound reminder: you have the power to assign meaning to the things that move you. In this case, “M” becomes a symbol for mental health, because music has the unique ability to uplift, comfort, heal and give voice to emotions that are often hard to express.
Artists and musicians have long shared their struggles through lyrics, melodies, and raw, unfiltered storytelling. Their honesty creates connection—reminding us that we’re not alone in our challenges. This initiative invites you to check in, whether it’s songs that calm your mind, fuel your strength, or simply make you feel understood.
Because music is more than just sound—it’s in motion. And sometimes, all it takes is one letter to remind us: mental wellness matters, and so does the music that helps us through.
